Also called the California ‘HERS’ rating, this analysis provides not only a comparison of the energy use of your property with others, but it also provides a financial analysis of the most cost-effective upgrades. This analysis is used for energy efficient mortgages, HUD 203k construction loans, and residential PACE (property assessed clean energy) financing.

The cost to obtain a rating for a typical home is around $700. If a follow-up visit is required to verify the ‘post retrofit’ energy saving measures, the typical cost is around $300. Large custom homes may cost more. Travel time of up to two hours (round trip) is included.
